Ah-ha!!! Would you mind picking one up for me if I give you either a cheque payable to bannisters - or the readies - I'll ring them and ask them to put one to one side if so???
No problem Neil, tell him to put it with my carb... :-D
-
Good idea Chris - will give it a try after ringing bannisters tomorrow for the postage cost on the cylinder. Thanks!!
Neil,
I've got to go to Bannister in the next two weeks to pick a carb & some other bits up for someone :-D

Yes, can you be more specific?
Medical waste :dunno:
-
Yes you need a licence to hold the cartridges.
No.. they are exempt under the Firearms act.. "Blank cartridges not exceeding 1 inch in
diameter are also exempt from the certification procedure." they fall within this classification.. anyway don't require any cartridges just some info on this starter, dated 1952 and fitted to the Chipmunk..

Anyone got any info on Coffman Starters.. Type SA :dunno:

Being ignorant of such vehicles - it looks a right mess!! I guess salvageable at a cost though???
So - did you find something to invest in Lee?????

Well what can I say.. hold on a minute is that a horse I can hear coming up the road? it must be Albert Steptoe & his trusty old horse Hercules coming to pick up my Bundle of Old Iron :dunno:

Don't forget to order issue 70 of CMV
ARMED, DANGEROUS AND STREET LEGAL
Soft-skin not hardcore enough for you? John Blackman takes to the road with three owners who have discovered the answer; post-WW2 wheeled armour... relatively affordable, relatively practical and completely street legal.
-
Tend to do it in smaller groups Richard, mainly because working on Armour is a little restrictive anyway. But agree it is indeed a good idea especially when one doesn't have the neccessary skills (eg. welding).
I try and aid Lee as much as poss as he does me especially when it comes to those awkward to reach places.
& I take John everywhere with me in case I get a puncture.. bloody heavy those Fox tyres

do you guys ever hold "work shop meets" :dunno:
another forum i used to visit held these things and went along the lines of....
"i have a series 2 that needs some work, can put x amount of people up and of course supply tea all weekend and hot food"
went to a few and was a good way to meet people, learn new things and of course what go's around comes around.
so any ideas
Why, what you need fixing :dunno: ;-)
