  1. Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for the reply.

how do you get to the timing weights? I tried to remove the base that carries the points but it seems very tight fit and did not want to force it. I had assumed I just undo the two screws and lift the black base out?

    Thanks,

    Mick

    Mick,

while you have the baseplate out why not fit one of Jolly's B60 electronic ignition conversions.. http://www.hmvf.co.uk/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=49&topic=1288.15

  2. are you lads down at the Fort a lot. can I bring my Iltis down to say hello???

    Hi Mark,

the Fort is closed at the moment until March but we are now down there most weekends getting the MV's ready for the new season.. you are always welcome to pop down & have a cuppa with us.

We support most open days at the for with the MV's if we are not at another event, open days are always the last Sunday of the month.. the first one of the year is 25th March with is the Vintage Motorcycle Meet, on non-MV open days such as this we take the MV's outside the Fort & set up in the revetment. Just PM me at the weekend if you fancy coming down & I'll let you know if we will be there.

In addition to open days we hold a few MV Days/Weekends throughout the year the first being Sunday3rd June Military Vehicle Day.

Here's the list of events as they stand at the moment but are subject to change, we have our Com. meeting tonight & will be discussing upcoming events, will keep you informed.

  3. It would indeed be nice if the MV Gods shone righteously on the old girl Richard.

With luck and a strong east wind she should be up and running in plenty of time for the parade in Horseguards as well as the numerous other shows before Beltring.
