  1. Yeah sorry if it turns out to be a complete waste of time. I've never watched the channel before. I was just looking through the channel guide and saw this channel which i thought was a new channel so had a look to see what they showed.

Well it's on the on-screen program guide :dunno: the channel was only launched on monday http://www.mk-tv.tv/press.shtml not a very good start & no program guide on their website..

  2. This is good stuff and precisely why an online service works so well.

  3. Just posted this question to the seller:

Be interesting to see what, if anything, the reply is!!

I sent him a msg too.. here's his reply..

    Hi there,

Thanks for the info. I'm being bombarded with emails with the same info. I'm pulling it tonight.

    Regards,

    Derek

  4. So they were presumably used for training to allow automatic fire.... learn something new every day! Probably not what was used in the execution though......?

Probably not used but would produce the same recoil though..

  5. So what would be the point? I must admit, I've never heard of such a thing. A military blank round is just that, a blank, and produces no recoil at all. A .303 ball produces plenty!

They were originally used in the Vickers MG & Bren which was fitted with a shredder, they are still about too.. frightening as recently some re-enactors in the States have been using them in bolt action rifles..

  6. Fired alone - you're probably right but fired in volley I think it might be harder to tell, esp. given the target and thus the likely frame of mind of the poor sod pulling the trigger...........

They were probably wooden tipped blanks so there would be little difference.. & without a shredder could still kill anyway..

  7. to post photos you can to use a photohost like photobucket.

    http://photobucket.com/register.php

When using Photobucket or similar you should have a page like this once you have uploaded your photos:

    width=256 height=192http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e132/safariswing/photohelp.jpg[/img]

what you need to do is highlight everything in the Img Box underneath the photo you want to post then copy & paste it in to your message, your photo won't appear untill you post or preview it..
