Am ready an interesting book, 'D-Day to Victory', the diaries of a British Tank Commander by Sgt Trevor Greenwood.
Still fascinates me the day to day living of a fighting WW2 soldier.

Well done, it looks the part now. Bit too hot to do physical work.

Would be interesting to see some pictures?

Have you seen one or got one in mind? Its very good to set yourself a plan and follow it.
Preparation is often key and something that can fill your time whilst looking.

Looks a really good project.

Any pictures? Sounds like it needs a lot of work but worth saving.

Brilliant, superb detailing.

Very nice and good news that it is with you rather than being put in a skip!

Any idea of what ship it was used on?

Now I wouldn't mind that sat in our garden!!

The next few years are a worrying time for all of us with historic vehicles. Perhaps one day we will only be allowed to show them as 'static' and have to transport them to and from events on a modern form of transport.
I dont think this will happen though, there will always be an allowance or maybe a restriction set on how much a vehicles can be used and maybe only on specific days/dates?
There are a lot of very prominent people who not only enjoy this hobby but also promote it, they will have quite a say in this debate also.
Lets take the time to fill in the form and put all of our backing into moving our hobby forward.

Now that is what I call some briliant work, it all looks superb and your eye for detail is excellent. I take my hat off to you.
Its a lovely read seeing this progress.

A big tough looking truck and that hiab looks pretty handy too!

Absolutely lovely little car, condition looks great.
I have a 1937 Ford 10 7W so the 8 and 10hp Fords are a favourite!

Bet that was a good feeling getting her out on road. I havent driven anything pre 1930's but can imagine this would be quite a thing to drive!

I think that engine looks very good, I think the mix of painted and non painted parts really sets it off.

I've hit that on a project we have here. We bought it with the engine fully stripped but not labelled and with some bits missing. We have spent so much time trying yo solve the jigsaw that we've lost a bit of interest. This week I simply havent touched the engine but started sorting what panels etc I can still use for patterns and which I can take to work to fabricate.
We all need some variety to keep it interesting.

No harm in doing it while the sun is shining aswel!
I generally work on various aspects when doing a restoration, I have found in the past that getting stuck on something for months can sap the enthusiasm out of you. Mixing it up and working on different jobs keeps you focused and the project moving.
