  1. We have finally got round to getting the wagon out for rebuild. It's in good order with only a few parts to find, but still in need of a strip down. The engine and clutch assy is all ready prepared . Next thing is turret off , top armour off and pressure wash and blasting . Photos to follow

  3. That's coming along really nicely , I nearly painted ours in that pattern but opted for Sicily invasion colours.
  4. With the support of a great team , the airfield owner and airfield management, following on from a successful show the museum is now going for strength to strength . More good press today .

  7. The RAF Reg had them on RAF Marham when I was there with the REME , all. They had was the Reg number - nothing to say they were RAF or any names - they did not have any storage bins . I have some photos I will try and post if I can find them .
  8. Cromwells suffer from gear leaver selector problems as well Rick (mainly in arenas in kent he he he ) . But not anymore !

  10. Old Buckenham airfield Norfolk . The website for next years event is just being updated , then all details etc will be published .

Following on from the success of 2013 first ever Military Revival at Old Buckenham airfield ( read some of the reviews on this forum) we are pleased to announce the dates for next years event 4th / 5th October 2014 . This is event is open to all military vehicles , living history groups and individuals, from home front to the Far East as well as vintage civil transport and aircraft. More info to follow but get it in your diary NOW so you don't miss out.
  12. Ok news flash ! Just out of the post show debrief with the committee - we broke even, for the first show we are happy with that . I can confirm the dates for next years event will be 4/5 Oct 2014 . Reacting from requests and surgesions there will also be a vintage area and feel to the show - so please spead the word !!! Advertising campaign starts in a few weeks.
  13. Rick , a big thanks for bring "shufti" down. As ever it was the star of the show. It ran superbly across the airfield , I think the run did it some good . Next year we need a Churchill there so get you finger out and get it finished !!!!

  16. The fun has not finished for us on site, we are putting all the kit away back in the storage hanger . It's a fair drive from the show ground , nice to see the Cromwell stretch it's legs in open countryside . Enjoy these videos !

  20. The site is filling up well . The Cromwell arrived this morning , people have been turning up all afternoon. Now we have lots of happy campers, little camps fires , glowing lamps etc , the odd vehicle driving around site. We have several forum members here , so thanks guys for turning up. This will be the last post for a few days , posts show photos will follow.
  21. Not yet Andy but you are top of list when I do . rain has gone (had about an hour ) now the sun is out again . The first stall holder is here and setting up - The Cromwell is on it's way !!!!! Tomorrow is going to a busy start .

  23. The local weather forecast for the weekend is hot ! Could be up to 21 deg C . More volunteers turning in today to help with setting up , for those of you that go to the war and peace revival we have some familiar faced helping us out . Thanks guys !
