Anybody making the trip to Malvern this weekend I am down there if anyone fancies calling in for a chat

I did take more than these pictures but the others did not come out very well
it's an age thing I think

Hoping to make it down there to show some support

After reading the last post I'm dead jealous I never know what I'll bring I just go into the garage
and chuck the stuff into the van till it's full and that will do and then you can bet your bottom dollar
that some one asks for something you have left at home

AMgeneral and I have pitches 29 & 30. Strange thing though the organisers have not put a plan of the pitches in with the entry pack. There is a trade only day Saturday for anybody who has booked a pitch, it will be interesting to see who turns up as this must be the most northerly event of its type.
Did they send you a survival pack, in case the natives get restless
with the quickest route to the motorway

Just got my tickets and stall number back so if anyone feels like calling in for a chat
or to buy any of my treasures you are most welcome stall numbers 39 & 40

I will be there because as I see it if we don't support shows up North
it will be a case of always having to go down South

We will look out for you.
What Ray means is we will try to not knock you off your bike
Here is a link to the Dutch site http://www.airbornebattlewheels.nl/

As Ray has said this is a Dutch group run site but only British marked vehicles and uniforms are worn
there is any where between 150 to 250 people on site it is very well run and worth visiting if in the area

I had a similar problem with a Hotchkiss and it was the small springs on the advance and retard
had come adrift in the distibutor allowing the cam to flop around to check is simple just take the
dissy top off grip the cam between your thumb and finger and see if it springs back when you twist it

I agree it is anoying having to camp in the overflow field with exhibits
when there is still empty plots fenced off or plots with just tents
or caravans on them

I have just tried to tax my Dodge on line and it got knocked back for not having an MOT
there was no option to declare exempt so it looks like down the Post Office in the morning
Commander
-
I must add to Steve post this was an excellent event which can only get bigger and better
it is run very informally with the owner of the site "Norman" calling in for a chat so I say again
this is one for next year chaps

I will get some close up photos done this weekend.
This has been in the same location for the last 30 years that I know about
but it was always "not for sale sorry" so when I heard that it was going to to come up for auction
I went around to try to buy it before the sale but was told it had to go to auction
even though a figure more than twice the eventual auction selling price was discussed
in fact I was very surprised myself when only one other person was bidding for it

I measured the bore diameter today it is 10 inches or 255 mm if your into metric across the bore
we found a year date of 1916 stamped on it as well got the beast elevating up and down by the
afternoon today still a bit tight though going to have a go at getting it traversing tomorrow work
permitting as a bit of interest I have had 3 offers to buy it already

What rearly gets up my goat is seeing sections fenced off for people to come and display
and for them to come for the last couple of days with a few exhibits on a pitch twice the
size of what they needed ok rant over
