The deed has been done and Marks friends who could made the trip to Crewe to say there final farewells
to him. It had been raining earlier but thanfully it stopped around lunch time the large cogregation of people
waiting outside said something of Marks character, there was a fair representation from local MVT groups
showing his standing not just in one group but quite a few who turned up I counted over 100 people at the
chapel of rest so farewell Mark

It is with deep regrets that I have to announce the sudden passing away of "50 CAL" or "Mark Galley"
known to many on here I am sure he was a larger than life figure in many ways and will be sorely
missed by all his many friends and associates

Hi Glyn, I think the Hispano Suiza you have is the one I owned a few years ago
mine had a brass end machined for the barrel but it had the small towing eye
when owned by myself I did have the tool box complete with kit for this gun if
you drop me a PM

My first introduction to MV's was a Champ I bought from a garage in Weston nr Stafford in 1967
with the clutch burnt out for £100 it had been used to tow vehicles in myself and a mate Steve
stripped it down on some waste ground near to were I lived couldn't get a clutch plate but someone
said that a clutch from an old tractor was the same can't remember what marque but finally found
an old tractor on a farm near to the JCB factory went over stripped it down paid £3 for the plate and
Bobs your uncle we painted it black and yellow and used it whenever we could afford the petrol it cost
me fortune to run even then it never broke down but we could never get the charging system sorted
I sold it to a local guy and never saw it again thank god
