H all have jus been given this 20mm anti aircraft gun con some one tell me were it was made anb if i can get a manual for it all the best jerry please take a look at my web site http://www.jerrysjeeps.co.uk
Nice 20mm Jerry it looks very similar to a 20mm Hispano anti aircraft gun WW2 dated I sold a few years ago
this looks a bit more chunky than the one I had it was a nice light gun to tow and to be honest I
wish that I had never sold it

Which parts from the gun and carriage do you have missing ? There were quite a few of these guns disposed of by the finns and most now seem to have disapeared.
Is your gun ex-Finnish stock.
Rob .....................rnixartillery.
Hi Rob, this had a British data plate on which I have taken off to clean off the rust and crap
the original numbers are Nr 3070 Z 1939r

So your gun is Wz36 re-badged as a QF Mk1 -I wonder how it got out of Poland? The plot thickens.
Steve
I was rubbing it down today and found the original Polish stampings on it
I will copy them down and post on here it seems very well made to me

Stripped the offending suspension down and sorted out the problem
a nut had come off inside the assembly still looking for a parts book
to buy or just copy it is damn dificult trying to sort things out from old
photos I can find on the net it is the model made in Poland in 1939

Are you getting fuel to the carb ?
easy way to check is after turning engine over a few times
take a plug out and check if it is wet
if not take top of air cleaner off and pour half a cup of petrol down the intake
small cup I might add if it fires or tries to start it is a fuel problem

Our club the NSMVT took the decision many years ago not to attend shows
which charge a booking in fee to enter our vehicles

My Bofors is the English version on the data plate it says QF MK1 37MM if I remember right
I have started to strip it down and one side of the suspension is sitting down as if it is not
connected to the spring system the other side moved up and down ok anybody ever pulled
one of these to pieces and got any info on this will post a picture about what I mean

I have had both 4x4's and 6x6's and the 6's win hands down in my mind
the 4's might turn tighter but the 6's are a mans machine
