Rlangham Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Similar to my post about the 15 cwt trucks, i've been asked by a model company to try and find plans for the following AEC Matador AEC Dorchester ACV AEC Deacon AEC Deacon armoured supply lorry Edit - forgot the AEC Armoured cars as well Also any other vehicles that were on the AEC Matador chassis. Degsy Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Hi Rob Iassume you are aware that the Matador was originally a Hardy/ FWD design which AEC inherited in a prewar takeover, I did see drawings some years ago in a mag, might have been 'Truck and Driver' but not at all sure. The 0853 Matador was the basis for the 6X6 derivatives 0854 etc. There are pics, dimensions etc of a lot of the vehicles including the heavy armoured car in Vanderveens 'Fighting Vehicles Directory WW11. I was going to go through my various manuals and parts books and put some more stuff like that on the site anyway. I'll try and move it a bit nearer the top of my "To do" list. If anyone else has any drawings etc please let me know, will be great to see a 1/72 AEC Matador other AEC vehicles on the chassis produced.
