woa2
On a similar vein, can anyone recomend a good medal mounting / framing company ?? Ashley Yes, I can find one but not until the end of November - I need to talk with some Medal collectors I am meeting in late November. If you can wait, I will contact you. Alternatively, try a Militaria Fair such as Mark Carters at Princes Hall, Aldershot this Sunday.
Rick W
Thanks Robert will PM you tomorrow. You can get frames to accompany a photo off of ebay, specifically for medals.
Rick W
Robert pics of both medals. Both are WW1, one is obviously the war medal other Im guessing was e general service one given to merchant seamen. Any ideas on what best to clean the bronze looking one with? Rick W
Think Ive answered my own question here! Couple of medal ribbon suppliers on evilbay, but this has raised another question. Were WW1 medals worn round the neck rather than clasp , as per WW2 medals?
