I just finished my Dozer restoration but have trouble with the starter, not sure the correct one is fitted

It has a 10 tooth Bendix gear, I've been told it should be 11 tooth, can anyone help .

has anyone got any details of the 6 volt starter motor, apparently it was made by Autolite and should have PS224 on it.
