Military vehicle have always appeared to be the most heavy duty and toughest vehicles around. Years ago I had a military version of the GMC Carryall, it would go anywhere. As a fan of military vehicles, I have recently become aware of the VW Bombardier Iltis 183. This interest has led me to HMVF group. I am interested in obtaining an Iltis 183 and importing and registering the vehicle in California, USA. Any information, comments, or suggestion are greatly appreciated.
