happydayz123
I have a number of 75mm American shell cases, which I'm wanting to sell. But I don't know if there tank or artiller. Some of the shell cases are shorter than the rest.Which are possibly, 75mm pack howitzer ? Does anyone one know how you tell the difference and how much there possibly worth ? Regards Stu
Adrian Barrell
Headstamps are the giveaway. M18 = 75mm gun, Sherman, Cromwell, Chaffee etc. M5A1 = 75mm howitzer. These are shorter. 75 DEC = French WW1 Artillery. The M18 and French are essentially the same case but the primer and crimping differ. I would be interested in any M18 cases.
