Lupton House 1940s weekend, September 22nd/23rd 2012

Recommended Posts

Lupton House is a grade 2 listed building nestled in the beautiful Devon countryside just outside Brixham in Torbay. The house has a long and varied history with the first records dating back to the Doomsday survey of 1086.

The 1940's weekend aims to show off the many heritage features that still remain in the house and gardens, as well as showing the important role Lupton House played in WW2 and in particular the D-Day landings of 1944.
