Hi all, I need to repair a heavy canvas sheet (I think it was once a lorry bed cover), it has a couple of large 12" slashes in which are too large for me to hand sew patches onto. I some spare bits of canvas to patch the rips I'm after a glue that I can slap on the patches (maybe 12" square) either side of the rip (top and bottom). I tried a glue from the local Homebase that claimed to do the job but after 24 hours cure just pulled apart too easy.
Can anyone recommend a glue that will adhere canvas to canvas?
