Mgtc1949
Hi all, I have just bought an mj to use as an occasional log lorry for my tree surgery business. It arrived this morning and I have a few questions. First off, where is the fuel stop ? I can't find it anywhere, How is the pto engaged so I can use the crane? And the prop was taken off to spec lift it here and one of the studs is spinning trying to undo the nut. I have used a spanner, next I will try an impact gun but failing that is it a pinion off job? I will upload a picture or two when figure out how. Many thanks in advance. Ed
Mgtc1949
here we go. i have played a little more and found the switch for the crane and winch and have learnt where the off switch is. it need a new cable but all fine. bought wing mirrors yesterday. haven't fitted the prop yet as the stud is still spinning and burst a hose on the crane so need to take that off and get a new one made up. all in all, i think 'Betty' and I are going to get along just fine. LoggyDriver
Hello Ed, Welcome to the MJ owners club. I would have thought your vehicle is an MK with the age. Has someone stuck a turbo on the old multifuel engine or has it got the Bedford 330 fitted?
