Ednacahill
Hello there; I am Edna from the Isle of Wight and my son is fixated on ordnance and tanks. My father was in the navy but was seconded to the army 1940-43(?) towing 4" naval mobile guns around the east coast, with a crew of retired/recalled servicemen, (navy) and soldiers in training. I am trying to discover something about their vehicles, other gear, and history. Edna
Tony B
Welcome Edna, about time the SENIOR SERVICE got another look in. Towards the end of the war a lot odf costal artilery gunners were re-trained, known as Gunfantry. These men provided the back bone for forces that Liberated the Channel Island's on May 9th 1945
