  3. Cheers Adrian, that was a very interesting and informative answer. I wondered why it didn't run at the weekend! It was looking pretty good outside, it seemed to have been primed with a red gloss? Bovingtons Comet didn't look too healthy inside. Cheers, Luke

  12. I cannot believe tht Army would put all of those old Shermans and Comets etc. on the ranges! Could they not just sell them to ther countries e.g Finland (Comets) instead!

Slightly off topic- I must praise you for the amazing restoration job on your Sherman, I have seen it in the flesh and in several magazines it looks fantastic :yay: I see you have a Cromwell as well how goes that?

  16. Hi all, I was wondering if there are any sites dedicated to the M3 Grant that has been rescued from an army range and has been seen at many shows.   18. No butI have seen a few Jeeps and a 101FC round here plus at the local shows alot of R J Shephards collection. His Israeli halftrack is quite nice:-D, but I have never seen the Boss's GMC around:cry:

  20. Hi all, Luke here, I have a keen interest in MV's and try to attend all my local shows such as Tankfest, GDSF, TOSR and the big un's such as W&P. We currently have no MV's but my dad is looking to get a WC 51/52 in the forseeable future. Cheers from a rainy Blandford:-D
