I doubt if Alien is wrong.

To continue over from last year I would like to ask any members on here that are going i.e. Safariswing and Irish person (name forgets me) in the V8 landy, Sean I thinks, if they would like to get their street cred back, seeing as last year they were humiliated like nothing ever seen after the race as to whether they would like a return match, stollyriddle will be in attendance to race (providing it is in forward gear) I will forgo this one to give others a chance ( well a GMC Pfffft !!! no contest )
If anyone would like a chance to show what their MV's can do before the quads turn up ( Safraswing knows what I mean ) please put your dibs here and I will contact you via very secretive means.
Have fun and a laugh and get yourself on video.

OK forum people it has just been confirmed that we now have over 300 bookings for the show which is good news and approximately half of the traders pitches are booked as well, so everything is looking good for the first show.
Thanks to everyone on here who has booked so far.

THAT, is a beautiful picture.

Have to admit I didn't take pic but that roundabout is now a well known roundabout & a large number of people from the area are familiar with spittys.
when people ask for directions and reply its straight over Spitfire island or left etc. its far more memorable than straight over the first bland roundabout...
Thats OK if you are a local 'ish person, but if an out of towney you might not recognise a spitfire for what it is, the wway they teach history nowadays it starts in the 80's, what chance do some kids have, a spitfire what's that a beer (Kent)

Snap, I do not think anyone is panicking just going to be more selective, nothing in "price" is going to come down, the stage is set as they say so we had better get used to it. I think in 10 years things like people collecting stuff will be the same but more "selective" (again) wages SHOULD go up with inflation (yeh right) but if not, then we choose where we go and what we do (still).
I like Cat prefer people orientated events as there is more on, that suits me because I have a choice, but those choices are becoming limited because of the cost, so I have to choose carefully now and in the future.
Does that make sense. ?

Dont get me wrong Cat, I agree with all that honours ours people, but lets get serious, make something that people can understand.

I think this begs the question "who will attend what show" YES people will attend shows but closer to their proximity because of costs, the historic vehicle movement will not dissolve because of it just become more "elite" to locality, we will overcome, because you or I want to attend and enjoy, BUT will be limited.

What a waste of money, surely they could have come up with something better, do people recognise the spitfire in this day and age. ?????
