Hi, I always thought the RLC Museum only had info for certain vehicles rather than the companies who built them? Cheers, Mel
I was thinking that the museum might know what the plate meant.

Have you contacted the RLC Museum:-

Woolies do them, but it is not clear from the picture if the loops are as square as yours:-
http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-979-staple.aspx
Only gives loop size not centre to centre and more expensive:-

Have you thought of using exterior or marine plywood instead of mill board?

Fooled by the description "Nato type 6NT" and now I've enlarged the image I can see the 6 caps.

I searched "theatrical barbed wire" and found this company. The barbed wire looks very realistic but I don't know if it is only for hire.

Any good paint mixer should be able to mix the colours that you need from the RAL codes and give you a choice of paint type and gloss level.

my local farm has no use for this Robin Hanger anymore, but would like it to go to a good home if anyone is interested ?
The de Havilland Aircraft Museum is currently fund raising for a new hangar. If the hangar is still looking for a new home perhaps you or the farmer could contact the museum.

Another museum that may like it, is the Newark Air Museum:-

18 days and no response to my e-mail enquiry at RAF Museum, Hendon - very disappointing. So I'll try Bletchley and see what they say.
Steve
Always disappointing when a museum doesn't reply.
The Royal Signals Museum also covers encryption, interception and spy radio, so maybe worth contacting along with Bletchley.

Going back to this. Does anyone know of a tool that would vibrate something like this. I don't mean beat the C** out it, but sort of an ultrasonic wrench?
Not an ultrasonic wrench but have you seen an induction heater? A useful thread here:-

If you are using you trailer on the road it appears from paragraph (2) that you need them:-
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1986/1078/regulation/63/made
You could have mudguards that are easy to fit and remove, when you are at a show no mudguards but fitted for road use.
