I am puzzled that he seems to have two left hands with different damage though !
Well spotted.
It might be that the third photo was taken soon after the accident and the others as his hand started to heal.
As Ian L doesn't like the new forum, I don't know if he will read your and my posts and then explain his "two left hands".

The collective name for jacking blocks was "Dunnage" or "Dunnidge" depending on your regional accent. Apparently it is a Navel term, I've never heard it used in civilian life.

Another weird thing the VC5 for the Dodge 51 says number not transferable.
Is that because you were given an age related number and not the original number?

It's still a BS381 colour. Dark green.
Search BS381 241 and you will see a number of sites that sell the dark green paint.
This site also gives the make up the paint:-

It was a fight that I eventually won, but I did wonder whether I should have just spent the £285.00 for a hassle free life!!
Would the engine have started any better with a £285.00 starter motor? Also, just think what you can now spend the £285.00 on.

I don't know if you are missing something.
Before I registered to join the forum, I was a "Guest" for quite a long time, this meant that I saw other peoples' introductions, posts and how the forum worked, so wanting to "make a good impression" and knowing a number of the forum users already (fellow MVT members) it was logical for me to introduce myself.
I've never heard of any vetting of new members, unless this a secret task done by the Administrators and/or the Moderators.

On the 'New' Forum layout. I still do not like it as much as the old Forum appearance
Now I'm used to the new forum layout, I don't have complaints.
I think, that the contents of the posts on the forum are more important than the layout, a fantastic forum with all the whistles & bells and easy to use is useless, if no one is posting on it.
