I see this was posted on the 19th and no one has commented, what is it with the military vehicle hobbiest who is seems to me is only interested in ww2! Bet if this was a ww2 ship there would of been several replies!!

It doesn't matter whether they're your cup of tea or not, the fact is they're genuine MV's, I could say OooooOOoooh another Jeep, they're hardly rocking horse poo.

 

 

I agree that civvie vehicles should be tightned up on but it's not as simple as a blanket ban, for example the VW bus of previous years with the Rolling Thunder display is obviously civvie, but worked brilliantly with the display. I agree with Lee about the ownership of a vehicle doesn't dispensate someone bringing anything into the 'Green Zone'. that's surely exactly what the support area is for.

I totally agree, i have stopped going to many shows as all you see are the same line up of Jeeps, much rather see An ex military LDV or something a bit different, the thing is what qualifies an ex military vehicle? i have just sold an ex RAF series 2 but it was mostly restored using civvy body panels!.........

Perhaps a no vehicle movement when the public are in should of been in place, then again half the time these rules get ignored! i feel for the family and driver

Well what can i say but a big thankyou for all those that came along and made it be a fantastic weekend, we are meeting in a couple of weeks to set the new dates for 2014.

One member from Shropshire counted up 80 vehicles on the saturday which is very good, it seems as though this show is here to stay and will be getting bigger and better each year........again thankyou!!

Just answered my own question, it was 56 Battery!!!!

50 missile regt was never posted to celle they was permanantly stationed in Menden, due to the nuclear missiles

i would say early 90's , the tape on buttons is something we used to do to stop buttons coming off!
