Please excuse my ignorance but know very little about RAF clothing etc as my main interest being the Army side of things.
Recently bought a small job lot of RAF items that were believed to be issued to the same person which included various shirts etc(all believed to be lats 60s/70s issue)and there are 3 blue shirts of 3 distinctively different styles(will take and post pics as soon as I can).
1 type labelled as SHIRT,MANS(blue collar attached)RAF
1 type labelled as,no designation just a makers name and number of 22B/9424861
1 type labelled SHIRT MANS BLUE GREY RAF
Thanks

Many Thanks for taking the time to post/reply.
The SA theory I guess fits with the Nutria brown colour of the jumper.

Have 4 pairs of these binos and gather they were used duriing the Falklands conflict and Op Granby 1991(and maybe even later/current) and was wondering if it was possible to date each pair from their serial numbers?
Many Thanks

Apologies if been asked before, did a quick search but couldnt find anything. Have a woollen RAF OA tunic missing its label, has KC buttons and was wondering please in order to ID/date it,what the differences were between a WW2 and 1950s made tunic?
Many Thanks.

Any time. Dont think they are collectible as such but are a lot rarer than the std DMS boots.

Just arrived,7 in total,a mix of Cromwell and the earlier Stadium models. Havent had a proper rummage as in the middile of painting but they all look complete but are VERY dirty, have obviously been in storage a very very long time and all look to have suffered from the common problem of foam degridation/perishing but that happens unfortunately and cannot be avoided.
