Liner attaches to the parka via velcro and also closes via velcro and not buttons as a lot i see??

The NI helmet had the same chinstrap assembly as the early plastic airborne helmet but was a totally different helmet.

Who won the pictured helmet on Ebay then chaps(was up last week).

Sold for a lot less than it should have considering also the early MK6 Cover:embarrassed:

Are you 100% on that??

Reason i ask is a few weeks back on Ebay there were 2 or 3 IDENTICAL jackets in Blue that were Navy?

Been lurking on here for a while and resisted the temptation to join(member of too many forums as it is!!!)until now.

Interested in all things Militaria but would say my main interests being British Post War 50s,60s,70s early 80s and Gulf 91. The modern stuff doesnt particularly interest me im afraid but being addicted to this collecting lark wouldnt be surprised if a few bits might sneak in:laugh:

Also interested in Brit,US and German WW2 and Vietnam as well.

Been collecting now on a very limited budget(due to low paying crappy jobs) for a while so have been lucky to get some rare bits while prices were sensible not like the ridiculous prices some items are fetching these days.

On a serious note though,im sure i will learn(i hope) a great deal on here.

Unfortunately i have in the past and still do collect on a tight budget due to a low paid job so cannot afford the luxuries-what rare bits i may have i have been lucky enough to buy many years ago when the world(and Ebay) hadnt gone bonkers or have been lucky enough to snap up a jammy bargain but that doesnt happen as often as i would like.

I wont clog up the place with run of the mill everyday stuff just what i consider to be a bit special.

Another item made was a copy of the tropical cellular airtex shirt
