I cannot post pics due to knackered camera and while rooting through various bits of mine have found what I think could possibly be a BFA for a .30 cal.
Does anyone please have a pic of what one looks like or a link with pics/info please?
Many Thanks

Im not into the RAF side of things but do occasionally in a trade or buy a few bits that have some RAF(in order to get the other bits) end up with the odd RAF items and have today received 2 RAF tunics that in all honesty havent had a chance to check out the differences yet but one of the labels mentions SIMPLIFIED in it-will if I can get my camera issues sorted post up a few pics and would be interesting to see what the differences are between the two tunics.

Superb condition and very substantial/plump compared to a std 58 Patt.
£50

Not sure when they were first introduced but the early ones did have cream coloured sorbo padding.
-
The couple I have close to hand both have rubber face pieces with the protrusion un cut and intact but come to think of it sure I have a stockinnette one with a cap that comes off as well.
-
Thanks Chris,makes sense now.

Thank you very much for the excellent info and nope, not going to wear-just for the collection.
Of the few I now have, apart from the different coloured filters,a couple have a protrusion to the side(if that makes sense)

Have a couple of WW2 Service Respirators and 1 has a red oxide type coloured filter and the other a khaki type colour. Any ideas please what the differences were? Thanks

The std Bergen side pouches are commonly referred to as rocket pouches Tony.

Prices/value of these pre metric caps has dropped drastically in the past year or so.
-
Possibly the WW2 type framed "Commando" Bergen that was still on issue mid/late 60s

A new stash must have been unearthed as not seen any in a while and a few on Ebay at the moment.
-
Makes no sense then to go to the expense of making a current MTP version?
-
Any ideas on them as while mine, the ebay one and the one pictured on here have good markings, they never seem to be 100% clear enough to make out in order to try and ID these.

Was watching this pouch on Ebay as somewhere I have a near identical pouch and its made of more of a canvas type material and not the regular type webbing that 44 Patt stuff is made of.
Any thoughts or ideas please?
Thanks

Either you posted it in the wrong thread/facebook post, also I wouldn't take a gamble on a supposed 35" waist as I have had a pair before and could not get them above my thighs and I'm a 34" waist
Wrong link, now changed to the correct one.
