In Olympic terms it would have been a 9.9 You can see the front wheel is about3" to the offside when viewed down the side in one of the photos. Chassis was kinked in 4 places down its length, last one was past where fuel tank sits. Steering column snapped, Steering wheel bent(WW2 one), seat bent Tank kinked screens smashed , G/box damaged Tub front moved across N/S hub damaged Combats bent Bonnet bent, and loads of other stuff  I got a text message from a friend(?) the following day(2nd Jan) to remind me, "Remember, a jeep is for life, its not to be ditched after christmas" Tim(1)

  14. I had mine painted with original spec paint after the accident and it looks OK but it takes a long time to harden. I am led to believe it fades more than modern spec paint so it is harder to touch in at a later date. Tim(1)
  15. Starter button should be rated for the correct load, 6 volt will pull approximately twice the load of 12 volt for an equivelant loading. Rating may be either in amps or watts. To convert wattage to current(amps) divide it by the rated voltage and answer will be in amps. OK , sorry ,far too high brow for this time of night. Tim(1) I use TS Autos on 01474 703131 for parts . He is really helpfull. He even talked me out of changing mine from 6 to 12 volt.
  16. I would go the paint factors route, they can scan anything and get it spot on, if you intend to brush paint it make sure you let them know , as they can add a brushing agent that makes it easier to apply . Tim (No 1)

  20. A guy in our MVT in Wetherby makes some fantastic replicas of A frames that are true to the real thing. Only done to order though as he has to have the steel folded specially to get it the right spec. I can find out if he is making any soon if you are interested. Tim
