  1. wow thats a spot on reply..mystery webbing no more. as for the 27-ft telescopic mast Larkspur era..if you did not lock the rings with the locking tool, mast would slam down on your hand as you push the mast up !:yawn::yawn: Phil

  3. all the letters are to Bill Price ( Price W No.1822211) from W/191122 (Rene Price) also I never read any of the letters did not feel right. Thanks for the replys a member has said he would like this book, be nice to find out more about Mr W Price Phil

  5. Some time back I found this ww2 army pay book in a dustbin, has letters and photos from this mans home. even national insurance stamps, would be nice to find a home for this book, I dont wont to sell it that would feel bad, just find a good home. can you help Phil

They did keep saying the only Lancaster in the uk flying..are there others outside the uk in the air ? in the 1970s I was just 7 but remember the low fly they did with the Lancaster at raf biggin hill , it was so low you could smell her. this was befor HS put a stop to real air shows:cry: Phil

  15. got round to the Pioneer Tool Kit parts today. but what went next to the Pick Axe Handle ? as you can see from photos one fits ok but not two, length is the same ne1 put some light on this ?

  19. I am about to get this NCRS Communications Cabin, they are about 1.8 ton Overall Length: 13ft 6 inches came in to service in 1995, this was operated by Signal Regiment. (NCRS is an adaptive high frequency radio system, consisting of a pair of HF radios controlled by a microprocessor. System) what I need to know is did they use landrovers 110/101 to pull them or MK trucks ? ne1 got a photo of one set up ? ne1 got one

  23. most of my teens & 20s I worked in the horse world, I dont think a number can be put to all the horses lost in war
  24. Just had the chance to see war horse :wow: what a good film no cgi in this one, real film this is a must see, very well made,
