  1. Hat`s off to you Rick for taking on the project & preserving our Military History & to Bob & his team for their hard work. Keep posting the photo`s etc as it`s fascinating to follow. Look forward to seeing it thundering around the areana at W & P 2012. Steve
  2. Thanks for that Paul, yup as an ex `Falingbostel Warrior`we relied alot upon 16 Tank Transporter Sqn. Although i fear for the RTR`s future..... Never one for remembering names !! `flash to bang`i now remember, it was a pleasure to work with you. Keep up the good work on your future project. Steve H
  3. Hi Everyone Okay slapped wrists, should have introduced myself first before i posted some photo`s but now hopefully making ammends. Although i don`t own a military vehicle (unless i win the Euro) i am looking forward to adding some input into what i think is a fantastic site. I have been visiting the site for some time and must give full credit to you guys (all 6,500) who have kept it going for 6 years + & have kept me entertained with the photo`s etc. Especially like the heavy armour chaps who do miracles cutting/welding/rivetting armoured plate to turn `range wrecks into true works of art, many thanks. I collect anything `tank`, user handbooks (rare & expensive!!), ammo, sights, instrument panels, etc, etc, infact anything which will fit into my `inner sanctum` (study !). If had the chance to own vehicle would have to be a Landrover 101 (v8 petrol ?) or Chieftain One area which i would support & i think would enhance the site is : car stickers/tie pin/ baseball caps for immediate recognition . Tramped around War & Piece show looking to meet & chat to some members but only found one group (sure there must have been loads of you there). So that`s me enjoy the photo`s and be gentle with me! Steve H
  4. Hi Paul It`s a small World (we work at the same place !!). Yup been wondering what was happening to the Antar. If you do 1/2 as good a job as the Stally turned out it will look very good. Is it a left over from the Transport Museum & how long do you think it`s going to take to get it to `show` standard ? Once in place it should really set the scene for our `customers` as they turn up at the main gate. Attached a few pics which iv`e been meaning to put on this site. What about the `Mosquito` are you involved in that restoration? Keep up the good work Steve H (will send a private message later Paul)
  5. Hope Jack believes you know !! I had to do a `double take` when they drove past. Can`t see Cow but there are some milk churns. Someone please post a photo or Jack's going to think I'm loopy.
