There is an exception to the George cross rule WIKPEDIA have missed.A special warrant was issued to The Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.This permits the flying of the cross to members,also note the white Ensign.

The 19 set is a Mk 2 hence Cyrillic writing, value around £300 if it works. The one on its side is a US Walkie Talkie, can't think of model, about £250. the 18 set I'm not going to guess 'Airborne' so stupid. All looks in good nick but does it work?

That is for airfields, think it was made by Stone-Chance. In a recent thread on the sunken wartime cargo ship in the Red Sea, one of these is seen in the hold.

 

 

and the trailer chassis is a Straussler design, with torsion bar suspension, like the RAF fuel bowswers.

Bit of an update to this beasty thing....... I still have all my eyebrows and no burns, have found that using just good quality Parafin is better as this can boil the water in about 40mins, I will get some pics at Overlord show and might even post some of the luxury tent carpet, Oh that reminds me must pack the Hoover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a good day.Me and the wife came down in the 101 and trailer.Will posts some pics later.Met Mark Heliops.But we have already met before.I now know who TooTallMike is and Grasshopper.Catweazle wasnt happy though!He would like to see a blanket ban on kids,and dogs at next years show.And there will also be a strong worded letter going to the CAA for miss-use of the Jet-Ranger during the pleasure flights.Apparentley according to Cat.There was nothing pleasurable about them,as the down drought from the rotors was pushing a nasty breeze in to his tent.Organizers!you have been warned.Dont let him cast a spell,as they have a nasty habit of coming true.lol
