I always look at the prices of the BSA M20's in the CMV and you tend to look at the other ads too.

Not at all mate as i have said before the strength lies in the ability of this forum to go off on a tangent but eventually arrive back to the subject. Its become more than just a Vehicle forum, people want to know what everyone is up to ,its more like being down the pub.
Guess who and what age.
Not the one and only CW?

Chris - never put the letters "st", "nd" or "rd" after 21, 22 or 23 - some members both past & present can react adversely to it... :shake: :shake:
Sorted. sorry if i've upset anyone

I may be wrong. But at the time,it was said that Romain was at the controls, who up until then had very few hours.
Not according to the accident report in the book Spirit of Britain First .but ???

I would take that with a pinch of salt,i was in RRs yard 25 yrs ago when mike brought a couple in.the two that do the rounds are the same ones.these are ex rare vehicles.i think craddock or one of the other big names has one of them.it shouldnt be to difficult to track it down.Dunsfold Landrovers i am sure would know where it is.
Too much salt's bad for you

According to Pat Ware's book Quater ton the designation was FV18006. One vehicle beloning to 21 SAS was converted in April 1955, two more in January 1956 and six in February 1957

A bit of nerdy info here.Jeremy Clarkson was in MJ627.Flown by Paul Day.James May was in PT 462 Flown by John Romain(If i remember rightly, the same John Romain that managed to destroy a Blenheim at Denham Bucks some years back, just after restoration). And the last one.Richard Hammond was in ML407 Flown by Carolyn Grace.Quite a funny piece by Top Gear.Lots of reference,s to the Battle Of Britain and the Great Escape.
The poilt was Roy Pullan. John Romain co pilot
