Richard, maybe its around the other way? If you select 1st, it engages 4 wheel drive? You then have to put it back into 2 wheel drive if required? I know that sound sthe same but is subtly different?

Looks like it needs resetting with a spanner, so its maybe not easy to reset, so its a bit of a last resort whatever it is!

Are they building/constructing something? Is this only for show, or is it something practical for the field of battle?

Obviously for next year a deterent is required? Clive knows a thing or two about capacitors.!!!! Rig up a huge capacitor to an electric fence around the MVs....8 or 9 farads should do it? Is there a way to create a capacitor from two big vehicles parked close to each other? I would guess the only other option is to have an on-site rota after the show.
