like the look , not sure if you have sorted the head lights yet but unimog 404 should do the job .

we have similer worm and wheels made for industrial gear boxes will try and get the name and number, they are in the brum area.the wheel pictured was about 16" diameter.

Spot the second K5

Mines a 1958 so will go for the early style ,will have to prime the wife for some art work ,were there any side markings on the doors ,hope to have some sides for the bed in the next few weeks.

Thourt pepole mite like to see there are some intresting trucks still in hiding .This K5 is in my frends saw mill fitted with a p6 perkins we ran the engine last year ,hopfuly she will see daylight this year .

The chorehorse engine is inclined this looks more like a delcolite of the 750w 12v type .

Welcome glad to know thers more of us nut out there whats the point of a practical moter ,the wife would have nothing to mone about .

I beleave they had problems with parts supply ,some thing to do with the origanal owners having not finished paying for them,Thourt it would make a change tosee a mog in british marking for a change,I beleave the harrier force now youse JCB fasttracs.

Thanks for the info can start some research now .I remember passing a colum of 404 on th A1 near RAF Wittering in the late 80s not sure of the yousers but beleave they were somewe captured in the Foulklands .

HI from Graham my current mount is a 1958 unimog 404s with a inrest in radio ,I work in the industrial mantanace industry as a fitter machinist .Latest prodject is seeking info to try and restore 2 R1355 GEE recevers i picked up at Newark auto jumble at the weekend.

Yes i agree ford engine is replacement ,the main thornycroft engine was turned over last year on the starter .shes safe from scraping whitch is the main thing.

I am slowly restoring my 1958 unimog 404s ,and wish hope some one may be able to help trace pic or marking details of these moters in british youse in germany ,

Realise this is a old thread if you are still after one to photo there is one at my mates farm in nottingham, it is the long wb with the geny behind the cab with its one engine .
