Dont Forget its this weekend 19th-20th May 2007 Military Vehicle & Living History Show Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker Ongar Road Brentwood Essex Essex Armour & Softskins MV Group will be holding their 2nd. Annual Military Vehicle & Re-enactor Show at "Kelvedon Hatch (Essex) Secret Nuclear Bunker" on 19th & 20th May 2007, camping from Friday 18th, on site catering & Bar, all vehicles welcome including Tracked. Re-enactors welcome & large areana. The Bunker is located on the A128 Ongar Road Nr. Brentwood Essex & is within easy reach of the M25 & M11. A12, A13 If you haven't booked in dont worry just turn up and check-in at the MV check point

I will have my camera with me and hope to get loads of pics from the weekend, just hope the sun comes out. Dropped the Bedford of today and will be back there in the Landie after the kids come out of school friday.

Sorry no BBQ this year Richard but your more than welcome to stay for the evening and enjoy the beer tent I know I will. :whistle: There will be food stalls open.

The give away for me was the 2 huge LARC's, There was a write up on the yard some years back in one of the military mags showing these huge vehicles.

Is the spare tyre cover not cool in the Dodge world.

Never measured it just luck it fitted on the drive. The Bedford is stored undercover and safely locked away as will the Dodge once I clear a space. Sorry Jack but if I was broken in half like a stick of Southend rock it would read POST WAR, will have to get a disguise for the WW2 events.

Got the new wheel cylinder fitted at the weekend and now the Dodge is home on the front garden and its a nice snug fit. Cheers George, I do like my RLW and it was my first military vehicle. As for banging my arm when changing gear I dont have that problem but my arms are not to long so that could be why. Nice to see you and the others are getting stuck into the jeep restoration and do keep the pics coming.

Mines not to bad empty but could do with some extra go when towing something or loaded. Still if anything goes wrong with the current engine then i will think about a diesel.
