Look forward to seeing you at the show and if any other members of Forces 80 want to come along we can sort out an area for the group.

Hi Jon,
These are the type of lamps I use in the back of my lorry and give out a very good light so should light the back of the 101 up nicely. Just need to paint the case green.

You can buy a 12 volt 8 watt fluoresent tubes, but if the penthouse lights are 24 volt i would think it would blow the tube.

Time they have finished with the stolly it will be like a totally different vehicle. I would have thought that after all the repair costs it would have been easier to have just bought another stolly and named her Maud2.

Field Kitchen/Cakes :cool2: will have to look at coming to this show now.

Forget the prospect of cars hitting you - look at this for a scary time on the roads...
I watched this on Traffic Cops BBC1 last night and could not believe they both survived. One girl got hit twice, wonder what drug they where on.

Had a great day at Chatham and will add this one to my 2009 events list and will be taking the Dodge WC63 next year. The show had a great atmosphere and the singers, comedians, reenactors and groups were great.
Just a few of the 581 pictures we took.

If any HMVF members are looking for somewhere to camp we (Myself & Safariswing) have some spare space and so does Markheliops.
We are located in America's field on the left just past the helicopter area and Mark is on the right as you come into the field.
Do pop in and say hello.

Why does Lee looked so scared ??

Ian
The cut off is to avoid the modern so called classic cars spoiling the show. I am happy for military vehicles of all ages to attend.

Re: Poss HMVF meeting/show 2009
Could organise something in our neck of the woods starting at the Bunker, Ian & myself were discussing this a couple of weeks ago... possibly meeting up at the Bunker on the Saturday morning for a days driving & visiting places of interest, returning to the Bunker in the evening for a 3-course meal & tour of the Bunker.. then maybe finish of the evening with some films if we can get Nick Johns interested?? Accommodation would be in the Bunker Dormitory Bunks & full English Breakfast Sunday Morning... Sowers in the Bunker would be availible too... It would be open to all HMVF members & you wouldn't all have to come in MV's as there would always be spare seats in the MV's..
Cost for grub & use of the Bunker approx £20 per head...
Just an idea...
