And that was cancelled this year due to the massive increase in rent for the weekend.
Shame it sure beat driving two hours to find that the event had nothing to offer other than clothes :-(

some of the otterburn avre's. the concreted avre ended up with dave Arnold at the isle of wight museum and is now for sale
I take it that these have gone or the usable parts have?

I thought it might be a touch below par as its a new show next year it will be bigger. The local show in Manchester started off small with only half the hall being full, the following year the hall was full.

Looking to add a couple of items to my '59 Ferret MK1: Looking for the Cargo Cage that goes over the engine bay - OR, if not available ...perhaps a set of plans to make one or detailed pictures. ALSO, a pair of Sand Channels.
Hoping a member can point me in the right direction to help and/or buy....?
Cheers...Simon
Have a look at http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?19197-Ferret-Basket
and

PSP will look fine on the front if you can't get hold of the "real" channels

The engine number won't help you as far as I am aware it isn't recorded as being with a particular FSC.
Hull number if your lucky Matt might have some of the numbers surrounding that hull number. Even if Matt has a number near that it will not pin down a registration as the hull numbers and vehicle registrations r out of sequence compared to the first couple of contracts issued by the MOD.
Even the Tank Museum will not be able to help you as they search under the registration number and the hull number isn't recorded.

Comet and Cromwell next to each other that should be good to see

I would think that you're greatest problem will be in obtaining insurance for a military vehicle if you're under 21.

Nice one it just goes to show how much they were disliked by the user.

Me being a rivetcounter but...
Shouldn't the URL read FEMALE in stead of femail?
Correct the Daily Mail has a reputation to uphold in regards to its website in that a great many of its journalists cannot spell. Check the comments its well known that they have issues
Now as I use spell checker to correct my spelling I'm not about to throw stones

Diesel and parraffin and leave for a couple of weeks and try moving it. Two speed genny if its oil fed and it has an oil filler plug a good dose of oil in it to prime it before you try and rotate the engine.
Another method is to try and pipe hot water through the block
It still might be a head off jobby as it may have rust on the bores or in a worst case scenario it could be cold seized

I moved the trailer around the yard yesterday after a bit of a sort out (you won't recognise the old place andy) luckily I was able to get hold of a forklift which made life a lot easier but it was still a right @rse to move around. it now sits neatly in line with all the other trailers me and andy seem to be collecting :-D
So with the fork lift you took the decking of the Sabre?
You would think that we are setting up a transport company trailers-inc lol. To be fair it wasn't a bad idea and it might have worked just fine if the DAF's had still been around

This trailer is really easy to reverse.
John
You really sold that one :-D
