    Hi LOUIS, I have a 1940 bedford mwd. Look on page 1, reg number PFF 301 .The chassis number 12932,contract number T8957 , WD NUMBER Z4178614.I hope that this is of some help .What is your chassis number Louis ? Yours Mick.

    HI FAYJO56 Its nice to see one more early bedford mwd saved.I have a mw 1940 my mw looks like it is in the same contract as yours t8957 ,my chass number 12932 and the z number is z4178614 mine was made in july -aug 1940, i hope this is of some help good luck sparky

    Hi I have 1940 bedford mwd,for my bedford i have a instruction book for bedford four wheeled w.d.type trucks mw ox oy dated january 1940, it shows a cable colours wiring diagram..One for the mw. and one for ox. oy.I hope this is of some help sparky

    I have been to Jersey for the liberation a few years ago.Took my Bedford mw to Guernsey in 2005.Went all the way from home (Halifax) to Guernsey without any problems.We had a really good trip.There is a photo of us in the liberation parade on my profile.Would like to go again.Cant make it this year.

    I have been going over there since about 1976.I was a member of the occupation society for many years.I also know some of the vehicle owners.Graham Sty,Dave Maindonald,Tony Chalker,Michael Ginns,Dave Acon,Ian Cabbo and quite a few more.My cousin lives in Jersey ,so we visit every year.I also know Russ and Debs Doherty in Guernsey.

    Yes,my wife has driven our 1940 Bedford mw,Morris Commercial C8 Radio truck and Willys jeep.No problems !
