Hello Guys I'm wondering if you could give me a bit of advice and maybe point me in the right direction to fault find/fix. I've got a charging problem on my Ferret. It started off to be intermittant, now it's not charging at all. The charging warning light is illuminated all the time and there appears to be no voltage going in to the batteries when the engine is running. My ferret has been fitted with a single speed generator by the previous owner a few years ago. This did illuminate the warning light at tickover but it extinguished as soon as the revs got up) Is it more likely to be the generator at fault or could it be a problem with the Generator panel? (No.2 Mk 2/1 Fording caps are present and fuses ok) Or another more likely cause? (fanbelt ok) Also can the generator be serviced? Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Cheers Matt

Hello there I just thought I'd say hello to everyone and I'm looking forward to being involved in the Forum. I have been interested in Military Vehicles for years, however after years of speculating I've decided to bite the bullet. I've just bought a nice Ferret, a Mk 2/4. Can't wait to get it to some shows! Pictures attached. P.S. I'm currently unsure of the military reg, but I believe it to be either 00CA89 or 00CA91, based on the Hull number. I would appreciate any advice on finding out the reg for definate. I'd really like to trace the history. Or even if someone is aware of these vehicles not being mine! Many Thanks Matt T
