the Mig 21 has arrived, we have a lot of polishing to do...need some volunteers...wax on wax off wax on wax off
Would a description of any traffic disruption during the delivery help with the council?

As they are just clamped in I have no issues with swapping them around and thanks for the advice

I have eventually got all the kit in and at present running cables, I have come across a question, looking at the cable from the RCU to the RT320, this cable appears to be a7 Pin F 5Pin M to a jack which fits where the antenna would be if used as a portable radio.
Am i correct
Thanks in advance

perhaps international input is not allowed but cannot see why...
Another point it is required on the form to have a UK post code, there maybe a way if you email the council and ask them to upload

Hi, sorry I took so long to reply. I thought I had email notifications on but I guess not😆. That sounds great if we could arrange it for some point in the future. I am extremely busy with exams and other things for the next few weeks. Hopefully some point in the future.

Our group has one of the other locos that were sent out to the middle east to work on the Suez railway, to date we have not been able to find out any detail of its time abroad.
Can anyone supply any detail please?
Very good history

Put the date on here and a location in case some of us can manage to get there to support, as a Fifer bit difficult for me but you have my support and on the planning site

Find a local auto electrician - I suspect it is a standard frame , of-the-shelf Prestolite used on a bus or lorry.
I know of one locally thanks for the suggestion

SMVG Group emailed this
The club has been advised of five ex-military vehicle based timber cranes situated in the Borders which are for Sale. There is:
An AEC Matador believed to be complete with original engine.
Four Ford Thames E4 trucks from the 1950’s, three retrofitted with a variety of diesel engines and the fourth being minus an engine.
For pictures of the vehicles see the club website Sales / Wants page at http://www.scottishmvg.org/sales-and-wants .
All been worked hard but could be used either to form the basis of full restoration projects or as donor vehicles for the provision of main assemblies and parts.
The current owner, who is open to offers, would like to see them preserved or at least made good use of rather than being cut up which is their likely end if they cannot be disposed of before the month of May.
Serious enquiries and to arrange weekend viewing should be addressed to Mr Bruce Redburn who can best be contacted by e-mail at brucebordersweep@hotmail.co.uk or failing that by phoning 077667 15560

Thanks very much Ruxy. I guess I'll have to see how much work needs done to everything else and decide from there how much time and money I want to throw at it. You've given me a lot to think about. Thanks for the help.
You are not far from me if you want to look at my 110 Tithounous?, need to give it a run one weekend

18 in support and the one objection reads almost as support

Just submitted my comments, I would suggest any one else making comments mention its not just military its the period if we concentrate on the military we may not get a good hearing

Would suggest you write a report detailing time and this information, would be even better if some one local could put this in comments to planners, not sure if some one can add a second comment to the planning portal.
Do a traffic management plan for submission as a standard practice for "large" bits of kit arriving.
Reading the comments some locals are objecting that the lodge is not being restored, is there a plan for this as that may help as well
Sorry used to work alongside planners
