Hi, can anyone tell where i can get a carb gasket set for a Solex 35rzfaipo that is fitted to the bedford qlr , thank you Pete ps has anyone done engine swap bigger or diesel engine to fit in a ql , looking at trying to save my engine and go maybe for a rebuild , which will take time , any info please

morning Lauren , thank you for your input , well that i have been told not to use any ep graded oils or grease , because of the materials used in these older military vehicles transmission, just to use S.A.E grades but it`s getting the right ones , pete

hi Baz , well i got the K9 about a year and half ago , body rot around the cab is a problem but a bit of sheet metal and a welder works wonders , and now taking it back to bear metal , because the last owner had a grinder over the bodywork and then tryed to paint it ,i was a site foe sore eyes but it`s coming round , i wonder do you still have your one and i wonder where you are , my post code pe22 4jx ,, regards Pete

yes we did get a K9 , but being restored at the moment , should be done for the mid of next year , 73`s

hi, help needed , got a miss fire or not sparking on cylinders 4 and 6 and are very wet when taken out , firing order is ok , fitted new plugs j8c , everything seems ok in set up but just keeps miss firing on them two cylinders , going to do a compression check on them , what would i be looking at psi wise , , i am now wondering if the brake servo is leaking and sucking brake fluid and may be the problem , i wonder if anyone has had the same problem , thinking about changing the dizzy cap , points and condensor , plug leads and cap a bit stumped , pete
