slong Posted February 15, 2019 Share Posted February 15, 2019 we are in the process of restoring our morris c8 fat quad. we found a couple interesting things while stripping the paint from the engine bonnet. would the numbers be factory stock numbers? and what about the orange paint? would it have been a primer? T8Hants Posted February 15, 2019 Share Posted February 15, 2019 I had a WRS number painted on my Morris C9/B, I understand it stands for 'War Reserve' and may have something to do with the order in which vehicles were to be sent back into service during an escalating conflict, post 1945.
