  1. Hi Mike, have got really good photos of you driving the ward from Beltring. Please send us your email address. Rik (I'm at rik.morley@googlemail.com)

  2. Re 78 rpm speed records, there are modern Hi fi systems available with out puts for CD/DVD recorders that can handle old 78's the las t ones i saw were about £200 . You would need to search the web tho for specialist dealers tho . Unfortunately DJ decks with pitch control don't turn up fast enough !! or that would be the easy way
  3. Pat said oo oo oo oo I've never actualy seen one of these please please will you come into the ring, what is again lol ?
  4. Great show , but the helicopter noise became a bit boring. other than that fantastic organisation, and I wish we could have been there all weekend but had to do vehicle repairs on the sat rik
  5. The very best of luck, dip the whole lot in diesel to loosen everything up !!!
  6. Hi guys, I've been to W&P just twice now and can understand peoples money concerns, and security concerns, myself and mates have fun driving down from london in MV and have a FUN relaxing time at the show if we didn't we wouldn't bother to make the effort . I fly from Edinburgh 5 days before the show to help set up. We've never had bad neighbours whilst camping (the reverse in fact) and have met some awesome people from all over europe . I had more security probs at a smaller show this year with people trying to nick musette bags of my mates champ !! W&P is worth it please try it for yourselves :-D rik
  7. Hi thanks for all the info, its deff not temp files probs, and I'm up to date with all drivers, I've not had any you tube probs to date, if it is just a fact that its a steadier stream then I really don't mind opening another beer to wait . I realise that theres been a huge amount of effort into the site and the vids I've seen have been awesome. What I don't understand is thats fine for some and not for others I'll check again my end and if I am missing something then I'll report back asap thanks again rik
  8. 11. Please be advised that the east coast of Scotland had no snow last year or the beginning of this -- London had more snow !!!! If it starts to snow here I move out for a month I hate the stuff :-D
  12. Thankyou, very much for the welcomes, I shall endeaver to find some articles to post ;-))
  13. Engines are meant to be run lol, I would say that it was in the best interests of the engine !! there was a bloke at one of the smaller shows who had a post war 12 pot tank engine I've a pic somewhere who was running it straight piped ( three foot flames out the top when he revved it ) 30 or so Fathers with young siblings hanging around when he started it then a round of applause afterwards, gawd did it brum . Oh and he was running it out of a 20 litre jerry can. Joy smiles and then there were the steam enthusiasts and the pop pop stationary engines guys ----f'ing noisy grumble grumble  rik
  14. Hello everyone ;-) I'm rik and live in Edinburgh , but spend a lot of my summer's helping Nick Johns in London , showing his vehicles or helping as much as I can , servicing or as was the Jeep re-building ( he said it wasn't the plan !!! ) But it was in bits sooner than I thought lol ! I've a keen interest in all things in need of restoration especially old engine , I really get a kick of firing up old engines after years of silence, thats a feeling you just can't bottle ! I know theres a few military people north of the border and I'd really be interested in meeting up for shows or beers or just for learning new stuff about other vehicles cheers rik
