Light Car Patrols in North Africa WW1

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Just a quick note that I am interested in the Light Car Patrols (LCP) in North Africa during WW1. They were the forerunners to the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) and SAS in WW2. My Grandfather (Alfred Stewart Lindsay) was Captain of one of the Patrols and I have many photos of him and the cars (Model T Fords and Armoured Cars Rolls Royces) from 1916-1919.

If you have any photos or correspondence please get in touch.

Many thanks

Bill
