Lynx22B
Can anyone tell me how to determine the year of manufacture of a Military Surplus Land Rover? Everything but the date is on the data plate. I have the following info from it: VIN: SALLDVAC8HA700460 Registration 60-KJ-15 Contract Number: LV2A/004/ITEM 24 Code# VB1625 NSN: 2320-99-893-8038 Thanks Guys..... robin craig
Have you thought about the MOD freedom of information request? That will give you the year into service. I believe that Gaydon, the British Motor Industry Heritage organisataion will for a fee send you the build data if you quote the chassis number details, that should nail the moth and year if not the day down. What other help can I give you? Robin
bawtrylwt
The H in the vin means it was made in 1991
fv1609
I can't quite match 60 KJ 15 but the date in service for 60 KJ 13 was 12/2/91 PS Incidentally part of the Asset Code is missing there should be another 4-digit group Edited July 28, 2015 by fv1609
