Chris Preston
'Evening All, Has anyone replaced are refitted a Ferret's fuel tap mounted next to the fuel filter? The fuel tap in our vehicle is leaking - I noticed that it leaks more noticeably when you turn the tap from one position to another and back again. Is it worth removing the fuel tap and tearing it down to repair the leak by replacing the seal, or should I purchase a new unit? rob233
You, should be able to, replace the cork seal, check for excessive corrosion and refit. I would just replace the cork seal. IF you do get a N O S fuel tap, you still may end up replacing the seal, being perished with time. Rob. Edited May 27, 2015 by rob233
