This event provides opportunities for military vehicles to park up, or “set up and operate a pre D-Day camp/village as well as visit a very interesting museum of military / civilian buildings, artefacts and a steam railway, seventy percent of which were used during the period 1939 – 45, the restored buildings include a WW2 prefab, and two different WW1-2 timber military buildings. Entry is free for the vehicle and driver. There will be various “working” displays including, RN D.Day operations room, Local Army HQ planning for D-Day, encamped troops, battle Air Raid etc. Period uniform or civilian attire is appreciated. BUT not essential. The Café will be open for breakfast, lunch and tea as per last year. Our intention is to use our military vehicles to visit a local disused military camp during the day.. If you would like to come along please contact me. If using GPO please send SAE.or contact by e-mail.Peter Davies
