Eaglehurst Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) Shaun, looks like a hood for a Mk 2(a) DPM aircrew jacket. A really well made jacket that had a zip compartment at neck level which contained a hood. Basically you could stow it for flight operations and then deploy it as needed. The flap at the bottom was where the hood connected to the jacket. Take a look down this post for a few pic of the jacket in questions. In the last photo you will see a small flap on back of the nexk.
