John, I'm not into Scammells I'm afraid, so I don't know if your model is one of these listed. Your question is a can of worms one! It depends on the era you wish to depict & whether it was permanently based in the UK or not. I'm sure there will be pictures that people will provide that might show a range of markings. You asked what should be on a bridging plate these are from The Equipment Regulations showing what should be there.
