Just one minor error (apart from the grammar), the first production Champ for the British Army contract was built on 1st September 1951.
Interestingly, the pictures show that they were happily fitting wheels without regard to getting the tyre treads the correct way round.
You might be interested in this post on the direction of tyres.

But as its restricted to
“on roads only in passing between different areas of land occupied by the same person” and “in passing between two such areas does not travel a distance exceeding 1.5 kilometres on roads”
You are not going to travel far.

And another ten going as the MVT have made their donation of £4,000 in addition to several areas making donations, so that has to be good.

Having spoken with Phil Plumb I think there will be quite a few Champs here as many already had the Kemble Champ Camp in the diary.
And Jules, there might be another Wot2 though the owner is poorly at the moment.

Popped over to the camp today to see some of the latest additions, so this is our WW2 armoured ARP 'Consol' shelter.
After the war it was used to give protection when blasting in a quarry in Cornwall. Then it was saved from the scrapman a few years ago and purchased by Bob last month who has re-fitted two seats inside and re-painted.
