Headset connector pin-out:

Probably best to connect speaker output to pins D and G, ground to E.
The sockets to fit a standard Clansman headphone plug do turn up on e-Bay. Or you could salvage them from an audio box e.g. item 111956680559
You won't need the Pressil box if not using the microphone.

I am trying to figure how to have an MP3 player running on "B Set" whilst the 353 is listening for traffic on "A set"
I think thats what i'm trying to explain ?

This supplier is in Wakefield, he has worked wonders for me, incorporating civvy bits into old casings etc.
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/clansmanspares?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
He will be able to supply and generally help !
He deals in civvy and old school, however his mainstay is clansman.
Message him and let him know your needs.

I guess he will be buying a set of ANR headsets as well !

Welcome in Jim,

NOW it is starting to make sense, thank you for the update.
Personally i had never heard of the FBHVC before, which is what prompted my scepticism.
I had better start filling the form in 18 times i guess, maybe not all tonight !

Hmmmm ?
Call me mister paranoid if you like !
is it ok if i include all my pin numbers and passwords to help with your survey ?

(Forgive ignorance, Trakmark ? )
The internal padding. It seems to be one of the first things to deteriorate.
i will let you know when I am passing and call in for a visit if that is ok with you.
i may be able to offer some help, not sure. But it would be nice to take a look.

Saracen looks great, thanks for putting the pics up. Trakmark inside looks complete which is rare.
Looks like it has some radio fittings, is it all working ?
Well done.

I dont suppose anybody has any F.A.C.E. boxes from a FV 610 Saracen, or any details about them ?
-

can you wait a few weeks ?
-
September is the closest i have yet John.
Dont suppose you have a spare drivers side final drive for a 434 ?
-
In any case, well done David, glad to see you still have endless patience !
-
Sorry Bob, but that would involve some forward thinking and realising the value of some of our assets, something the higher ups are not good at !
Just throw them away and buy something else when we need it !
-
Nice to hear from you Jim, welcome, from Dale at heywood tanks, not far from you !
