    Looking at their prices, Tanks-Alot's 2 day £1,200+VAT course doesn't look so expensive. 

     

    For help with a G licence, you could try a local steam club or rally. I'm not suggesting that you take a test on a steam roller but I have seen diesel rollers at shows.

    Even if the museum doesn't offer training they may know who does in the area.

  3. Gas detection brassard also worn. Chemically impregnated light brown paper (resembling waxed paper) designed to be worn on the shoulder. After sliding the armband up the sleeve, a small loop was threaded through the epaulette on the wearer's jacket to secure it in place. These brassards would turn red from a chemical reaction if they were exposed to mustard gas.

    Also, from their site:-

    A letter from the museum or theatre company
    A letter from the commissioning film/TV company
    A copy of your re-enactment/military vehicle membership card and relevant insurance certificate
    Proof of requirement for use in conjunction with employment (Crown Servant) e.g. Letter from commanding officer/manager confirming the use is for the purposes of employment such as training
    Age verification is required in addition to the above proof.
